I am a quite fast reader with only one motive in mind to finish the book as soon as I can. Not to brag but I have completed 300-400 page books less than a day many times.
Recently, I was cribbing to a relative (who read books too) that I don’t get the time to finish books at a faster pace anymore. To which she replied, she likes to savour the book and finish it in months willingly. This sounded so bizarre to me and I often think about it. I feel that I am really pretentious to judge someone else’s reading style.
Just wanted to reach out any ask about broader reading style.

I hope I am clever reader. Speed doesn’t matter at reading.
Depends on the book id say. Some books demand to be binged lol. I do enjoy absorbing everything and paying attention most of the time but not months.
