hello! sorry, i hope this post wont be too difficult to answer. im really particular about the type of romance books i like, so its always been a struggle to try to find one that hits all the checkmarks. im hoping somebody will be able to help me out!
im looking for a romance story that portrays two people who love each other to the bone. not fluff, not enemies to lovers. not a story where the characters are just drooling over each other all the time but one where they basically want to crawl inside each others skin. no cliches, no petty drama, no stupidly annoying characters.
one book that i felt like kind of got close to this was "stay with me" by nicola fiorina. but that was only because the love interests grew incredibly close to each other, and unfortunately i found the rest of the story pretty unenjoyable.
any suggestions?

I wonder if the books by Helen Hoang might fit this? Possibly some of the Abby Jimenez books too. Lots of healthy love stories with characters who have experienced challenging or traumatic experiences and need someone good.
