Hi! I have an ongoing list of books that I would like to at some point obtain, but I recently realised I've run out of stuff on that list, so I'm now in a frantic search for more to add to it. If anybody has any recommendations similar to these books I've read and probably think about on a weekly basis, my life is yours.
-In Memoriam by Alice Winn (mlm, WWI, tragic w/ a happy ending, poet MC)
-The Secret History by Donna Tartt (casual queer rep, academia, poetic language, philosophical)
-If We Were Villains by M.L Rio (for the same reasons)
-Babel by R.F Kuang (raises important questions abt. British colonialism, tragedy, amazing character development, academia, etymology and language)
-The Song of Achilles (mythology, tragic mlm, war setting, poetic language)
-The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde (classic, mlm, questions about morality).
I love literary fiction (or just normal fiction), war settings, tragic mlm (as you can tell), academia and poetic language, books that have interesting social, historical or philosophical takes and stuff that focuses more on the characters and their relationships than plot.
I also don't think I know of any mlm books that take place in WWII, but I'd love to know if any of you have some recs for that!
