I tend to like weird lit authors like Murakami, Jeff VanderMeer, China Miéville, Kazuo Ishiguro, or a book like Piranesi. Even though I enjoy them it can be a bit exhausting to get through a whole book written in this style. Are there any authors/books that hit on these vibes but are a bit easier to digest and read quickly?

well, I would say a lot of weird lit is not particularly easily to digest, at least in my experience, but I would recommend Ottessa Moshfegh, Jen Beagin’s *Big Swiss,* Ruth Ozeki’s *A Tale for the Time Being*, Katherine Dunn’s *Geek Love.*
A few authors that might work for you:
Han Kang
Mona Awad
Melissa Broder
