Hoping to get some of y'alls best fantasy suggestions, preferably epic fantasy but open to most anything. Some of my favorites are the Inheritance Cycle, The Elenium, The Underland Chronicles, the Redwall books, the Dark Tower series, and The Ranger's Apprenrice series. Have also read and enjoyed LOTR, Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments, Maze Runner, Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and Harry Potter. Totally bounced off of Wheel of Time the couple times I tried to read it when I was younger. Standalone books are also welcome, one of my favorite books ever is The Highwayman by R.A. Salvatore (which I didn't know until a couple months ago was part of a series, always thought it was a standalone lol). Have also gotten into Stephen King big time lately and absolutely loved Bag of Bones and 11/22/63

Tad Williams? Tailchaser’s Song is a standalone fantasy featuring cats (since you liked Redwall) but his Otherland series is great.
Jacqueline Carey’s Kushiel books.
I would recommend The Deed of Paksennarion and the follow up series as well.
And Judith Tarr, especially The Hound and the Falcon. She’s one of my favourites and I don’t see her mentioned much. Alternative medieval history, priests and shape-changing elves.
These are all huge and immersive and well-written.
The first three books in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George RR Martin are good.
I also enjoyed The Witcher series, but I haven’t read the new book yet.
