looking for a book that’s un-put-down-able and will grab me from the first chapter, that has a fall/winter setting. I like to read books that feel appropriate to the season. I’m currently also reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel (and loving it- but I want to add in something a little quicker and shorter). I’m looking for something kind of lit-fic but still fun- I’m not opposed to something Reese Witherspoon book club-esque! Some books I’ve recently enjoyed: The Bee Sting by Paul Murray, Absolution by Alice McDermott, Dream State by Eric Puchner, Yellowface by RF Kuang, Colored Television by Danzy Senna, and Come and Get It by Kiley Reid. Really hoping to find something gripping but also seasonal/cozy/fall!
