In a huge reading slump after finishing Alchemised. I thought I wanted another fantasy but I think I’m leaning towards dystopia with great writing. TIA.
honestly red rising has that perfect blend of dystopia and sci-fi so maybe try neon green by margaret wack or babel by r f kuang if you want something with similar vibes but different worlds.

I am currently reading (and loving) The Will of the Many, and The Red Rising is on my TBR pile. And with that in mind + assuming you probably have already read all of the most commonly recommended dystopian books, I’d recommend these two: the Last Lie by T.T. Maalis (an one-off) and the Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin (a trilogy).
