I have an 8 1/2 long car ride home next week and I need GREAT audio book recommendations. I’m really into sci fi and thriller audiobooks; however my normal reading genre is fantasy but it’s just hard to follow in audiobook form. An example of a book that keeps me hooked for my last 8 hour car ride was Project Hail Mary by Andy Weird. Any recommendations and brief synopsis would be much appreciated!

Dungeon crawler Carl. Best audiobook I’ve listened to. And I’ve listened to project Hail Mary.

Maybe some humor.
Non-fiction **What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions** by Randall Munroe narrated by Wil Wheaton.
It consists of a series of questions on pop-sci and pop-culture, each answered in one or two paragraphs. The answers are hilarious in a dry-humored way.
An example question is: What would happen if you hit a baseball pitched at 90% of the speed of light?
The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins.
Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky.
