I loved the Arc of a Scythe series by Neal Schusterman. Young adult sci-fi, so an easy read but it deals with some big ideas while remaining fast paced.
I totally get that — it’s hard to find a book that’s easy to get into but still means something.
For me, Until I Found You was that kind of story.
It’s heartfelt and emotional without being heavy — a story about healing, rediscovering love after loss, and learning how to slow down and actually feel life again.
It’s beautifully written but still beginner-friendly — perfect if you want something that touches you but doesn’t overwhelm you. 🌿
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls (memoir)
The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin
The Echo of Old Books by Barbara Davis
The Humans by Matt Haig
A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean. It’s short, it’s about life, and feels somewhat poetic. But of course, if you hate nature, you might not vibe with it.
