Weird girl books by Italian authors and/or based in Italy

Going to Italy soon and want to read some books about it. I don’t think the My Brilliant Friend series is for me. I love magical realism and authors like Ottessa Moshfegh, Mariana Enriquez, Ling Ma, Sayaka Murata, and Melissa Broder.
