I just saw a bunch of videos come across my tiktok about thriller books recommendations. I am more of a casual reader but I love horror/thriller/psychological films so I was thinking to start off with some really good books that will make me really hooked and keep me on the edge of my seat.

John D. MacDonald wrote action thrillers with mystery elements. He’s out of print so its fun to look for used bookstores carrying him. His novel The Executioners was adapted twice as Cape Fear.
