ISO books preferably written by people that identify with underrepresented/marginalized communities

As someone who has grown up in a rural area full of ignorance, I want to expand my knowledge on other people’s experiences.
Looking for books that delve into women’s history, experiences of poc, racism and micro-aggressions, religion, etc. Historical events that are purposefully not taught in many schools.

(Truly hoping I did not use any harmful or offensive verbiage. If I did, and you don’t mind explaining how/why something I said is inappropriate, I would love if it were brought to my attention!)
