I read the Dune series again every few years and after twenty years the first book still smells like chocolate I was eating during the second read.

Do any of the books you read repeatedly have smells that linger?

Sorry if this is an inappropriate post, btw. I just wondered if other people have experienced something similar. I didn’t know a smell could last for twenty years. I know this is more about the physical books than the stories within but it seems relevant to this sub somewhat.
