I used to read voraciously but in the last ten years or so, I’ve become more of a collector than a reader.
I’ve always been drawn to fiction a little less, but given I read a ton of heavy journal articles, research, policy papers etc for work, I’m finding myself really wanting to escape my mind a bit in a good story.
Typically I love to read non-fiction tales of adventure combined with great storytelling.
One of the more recent books I loved was Kings of the Yukon by Adam Weymouth – that gives a good indication as to my mainstay.
Would love any recommendations for short fiction books! I previously really enjoyed Pereira Maintains which was a short book recommended to me.
Thanks!
