Hii! I don't know how to explain this very well, but I'd love to read a book that feels like it's been written by Sagan, or where I can hear his voice reading the lines in my head. I grew up watching his Cosmos series and recently read his books too, and I'm craving that familiar sort of comfort in some trying times.
I'm mainly looking for books and characters that hold a type of respect for the Cosmos. Something that shows the beauty of the universe and black holes and neutron stars. And maybe some adventure around the universe and well thought-out/ described worlds or systems. Something to get lost in!
I'm new to reading sci-fi. I ordered The Martian and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and Leviathan Falls by James S. A Corey and am super excited to start them as soon as they get here, but that's really about it. Thank you all!
