I read a lot of middle grade/ YA coming of age books with queer and/or disabled mcs. I’m a teacher and a parent and I’m almost always bothered by the lack of supportive adults in the lives of the kids in these stories. Rarely do I read something where the parents, teachers or, other adults are helpful and supportive of the kids in the stories. I’d love recommendations for good, supportive parent representation. I’m open to all genres but am mostly interested in middle grade and YA, some adult fiction is ok too. Thanks!

The View From Saturday by E. L. Konigsberg. It focuses on a group of four middle school kids, but there are two well-written adults, a dad and a teacher, who are both supportive and sympathetic.
