(I apologize I tried to post in r/relationships but was denied due to my low karma, so I’m dumping it here 🫠)
Hi, I’ve recently gone no contact with my ex of almost 3 years. We’ve been broken up for almost 3 months and remained friends, but I had found out she went on a date. I just couldn’t do it to myself anymore knowing she is actively on dating apps but trying to remain friends. Absolutely not. So, I decided it’s best for myself if I cut things off indefinitely, in fear of not being able to grow and heal from this relationship.
Now here is where my question comes in— I have searched long and far for book recommendations for after a breakup, but none of them quite fit exactly what I am in search of. I know I am not at risk of reaching back out to her, because this is a decision I made for myself and I have to stay true to that. I just need a book that can teach me how to properly feel my emotions, how to heal, boost myself back up, and move on. Im not second guessing, I just want to help myself during this time. If anyone has suggestions for a book that maybe fits some of these topics, please let a girl know. I’m not a reader, but this is so awful I’m at the point where I think I need to read a book lol. Thanks in advance 🩷

Murderbot. Seriously, the series helped me to deal with my feelings quite a bit. First one is “All Systems Red”
The Mastery of Love by Don Miguel Ruiz…it’s amazing!
