Just read The Prose Edda for the first time in over a decade. I didn’t really clock it before, but this translation at least (Jesse L. Byock) has the Aesir being descended from Trojans, Mennon specifically. This is an interesting connection between Greek and Norse mythology and I’d be curious for suggestions on other books that explore this (fiction or non-fiction!).
