I need to read 13 books by the end of the year to hit my goal of 52 books. I don’t want to read classics at this moment because my brain is a bit too fried lol
Short: ~200 pages max
And some books are short but take a long time to read because they’re dense/opaque or very philosophical or just abstract.
Short books I’ve enjoyed:
Murderbot
Monk & Robot
To be taught, if fortunate
The yellow wall-paper
Binti
Convenience Store Woman
The Details
A Dead Djinn in Cairo
Assembly
Woman at Point Zero
Prosper’s Demon
I didn’t very much enjoy:
Small things like these/Foster
This is how you lose the time war
The end of Eddy
Tried to add the ones most commonly suggested.
Christmas books are also warmly welcomed, not Christian fiction though.
