I just reread all the Harry Potter books again and I'd forgotten how good they were! I want to read a fantasy series that would make you care about the characters like HP does, and where you care about the plot as much as the characters do because the stakes are so high. The twists in HP are actually really great and unpredictable so I was hoping for more recommendations like that! Honestly, the most important part for me is needing to like the chatacters. Once I do, I'm all in. Thank you in advance!

You should check out Stealing From Wizards – Ryan Consell. Fourth and final book in the series was just released.
Raven Boys is my go-to rec for “what to read after HP.”
