I 37M was invited to celebrate the 30th birthday of a friend who is thoughtful and kind.

When my brother graduated high school, his girlfriend gave him the book “oh the places you’ll go” by Dr Seuss. That always stuck with me. Obviously the reading level of the book was much lower than that of a high school graduate, but such an uplifting and relatable book for someone about to start adulthood.

Similarly, can anyone recommend a book that I can give to her with the same sort of feel but for someone that has lived a decade as an adult and is now entering a period of maturity?

Doesn’t have to hit all of the following: but something that might cover the things we feel when we’re thirty and want guidance for like choices we make, paths not taken, and starting new chapters?

    Thank in advance!!
