Nonfiction about Jim Crow and Nazi Germany

I am aware that the Nazi party drew inspiration for its racial ideology and laws from America’s own history of anti-Black racism and segregation. I’m interested in diving deeper on the subject but having trouble finding a good source. Can anyone recommend a work of history, reasonably accessible to a layperson, on this topic? Thanks!
