Hello I've heard Osamu Dazai's books are extremely depressing. I've only ever read "No Longer Human". It was in fact depressing. But something about it made me feel interested.
Can someone please suggest more books like those or by that author. Also please give me a brief summary of them without spoilers.

I don’t know, but he killed himself down the road from me and is buried not far away. Really should read something of his; I do like a depressing book.
He also wrote The Setting Sun, which is about a woman whose mother is sick and whose brother is away, who lives in a rural town and doesn’t feel like she’s going anywhere. I forget the details but I remember it being very similar to No Longer Human – maybe more structured, for better or for worse.
Other than that, Albert Camus’ The Stranger gives me similar vibes, if only because it’s a protagonist who doesn’t feel “normally”.
