Help a hopefully returning bookie out!
I used to love reading when I was a teen. Mostly fantasy like Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms, and a little Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaiman on the side. My "career high" was like finishing 30 books in a year! Then came med school and residency training, and adulting and family life and suddenly I'm 36 y/o and haven't opened a book for leisure reading for the past 2-3 years 🙁
Once in a while, I'd go to the local bookstore to look around and hope to get back to reading again. However, I don't recognize a lot of the titles anymore, and when I browse through some of the bestsellers, they're all written for kids and teens.
Help a hopefully returning book lover out! Any new fantasy book that you'd recommend for a not-so-young adult like me?
