Hi all! I have a kid who really wants to love reading. They read fanfic often, but would like to read books. They often dnf books because they don’t like where they go or they get boring. They need something that hooks you quickly, isn’t too overwhelmingly descriptive and is a shorter read. They like horror movies a lot, the suspense, not the gore. Cozy reads are a no. Queer is great. They have a love for Britain as well. So, quick hook, not too long, keeps you pulled in. Thank you fellow book lovers!
