nonfiction book about madness/hysteria

i've tried to do some searches myself, but i'm coming up short. does anyone know of any books about the historical diagnosis of madness and/or hysteria? preferably in women. i'm interested in historical case studies and an account of how one could be diagnosed with hysteria, how hysteria was defined, how it weaponized, etc.
