currentely re-reading wuthering heights after 6 years (and falling in love again with the book) but it's such an intense reading that after finishing this is feel like i'm going to need to read something "lighter" to balance things
if it helps, here are some info:
also some of my favourite books: Slouching Towards Bethelem and Madame Bovary
themes i like: queer stories, written by women, woman-centric stories, journalism, romance and poetry
thank you <3

Anything by Casey McQuiston (queer romances, while some angst always very funny with happy endings, and always queer)
plantains and our becoming by melania luisa marte (poetry, written by an Afro-Latina woman, about growing up in the Dominican and living in the US, so maybe not light topically but I really enjoyed her style and think you might like it based on preferred themes
When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill
