Quite simple. Just the title. I have quite a handful of books and need help deciding which one to start first. Here are the options.

    The first law trilogy.

    The way of kings

The three books of Lies of Locke Lamor

    Will of the many.

    House of Leaves

    Piranesi

    The shadow of the gods

    Terry Pritchett mort.

    (Edit)

Forgot to mention the poppy war trilogy

    1. I did first law recently, and really loved it. The characters are amazing, the setting is fun, and the humor is pretty great.

I like Sanderson (I know there are many mixed opinions) and Way of Kings is a really great book to start out its series, but it’s pretty slow at first. Good though!

    2. If you pick the way of kings, you’re not just picking the way of kings, you’re picking a 6500 page epic that spans 5 books and 3 novellas.

I don’t want to discourage you from that choice, because I immensely enjoyed that series. It’s very easy reading. There’s a lot of valid complaints about Sandersons writing style, but the series is just pure fun. It’s basically marvel-esque superheroes in a culture heavily inspired by medieval Asian culture.

    3. The only one of these I have personally read is The Way of Kings. As such, it would be biased for me to say “Go read this first” because I can’t speak for the others.

I will say that The Way of Kings is a bigger commitment than the surface suggests. In case you aren’t aware, the Stormight Archives is part of the Cosmere universe, which has two Mistborn series’ (a trilogy and a quadrilogy), Elantris, Warbreaker, and a bunch more. The warning here is that if you get invested in Stormlight Archives and the implied wider universe, you can say byebye to your next 5 paychecks
