I’m posting my list of books I’ve read this year. I’m not sure what to read next. I like historical fiction, nonfiction books, memoirs (particularly from settling the American West), time travel books, and historical-ish books with light mystical elements (the book Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield comes to mind as an example for this).
I really liked the books I read by Sandra Dallas and Stephanie Dray, but I’ve read through all I can get my hands on at the library by them.

We have similar interests. Some books I’ve loved from this year – E. Jean Carroll’s memoir, My Friends by Fredrik Backman, Clown Town (the latest in the Slough House series), and Griffin Dunne’s memoir.
Some others that were good: Mark Hoppus’ memoir, Jeremy Renner’s memoir, and Don’t Call it a Cult (about NXIVM).
