Hi! 👋 Don’t know what to flair this haha

The thing is, I’ve always liked writing, but was never an avid reader. I want to change that.

The other day, I was reading a book (“Lineage of Grace”, Francine Rivers.) after an embarrassingly long time of not doing so, and I realized how refreshing it is!

I’d like to have more books, but I unfortunately don’t know what books are out there 😭 Therefore, I’d like your suggestions on which books to read!

To be more specific, I’ve always been a sucker for romance. No smut, please, or “closed-door” implications 🙏 I definitely prefer cleaner romances.

I don’t mind if it explores darker topics, as I love the psychological aspects of characters and such. I also do enjoy fantasy! Doesn’t have to be that, though. I like modern-day stuff, or even historical fiction!

I’m a huge sucker for well-built and interesting characters and character dynamics, story arcs, unique premises, and well-executed writing… but then again, aren’t we all?

Lastly, I also like stories without romance as the main genre (That good old sub-plot romance 🫲😩🫱… but it doesn’t even need to have romance at all haha)! Romance just preferred from me, I guess lol— hopeless romantic stuff

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask! Thanks for reading this far! Sorry for talking so much lol

Please and thank you for your help 😊 God bless!

Someone You Can Build A Nest In by John Wiswell – this is a book from the perspective of a shapechanging monster that, through a series of events, accidentally joins a group of people hunting the monster, one of whom she has developed romantic feelings for. Both characters are asexual, so the book is totally clean in that regard.
