English is my second language so I often find myself coming across words I don’t know when I’m reading. However, I’m usually too lazy to keep track of them since searching up the definition and writing them down is time consuming and ruins the flow of the book. So, I was wondering if there’s an app where I can just type the word up and it would immediately define the word and save it in a folder for me so that I can review it later.

Or if anyone else has any other ways of keeping track of the vocab please let me know! It’s always a shame to think about how many words I let slide because I was too lazy to write time down.

    1. I would simply type each word in a file (say a spreadsheet, so you can organize and sort) and ignore the context or definition as you read. You can look up the definition again later, and you can search for the context in the book later. After finishing the book, you can go through all the words again.

Making it into an Anki deck probably works fast even if you’re not going to test yourself on it flashcards style.
