I am looking for a book like what i said in the title.
I want one where the protagonist has a desire to accomplish sth that can t be accomplished without killing themselves and multiple ppl/killing multiple people. Like in Sky Daddy by Kate Folk. The MC bust be conscious of the fact that death is necessary.
The motivation MUST be romance or joy/communion. I don t want erotic motivation or anger or sadness.

Adding to this: the MC has to chase the desire in some way and not be passive. They have to put others at risk somehow but not out of malice
