Hi everyone! I want to surprise my girlfriend with a book she'll enjoy, something that's not already on her wishlist. I do know she reads a lot, mostly fiction, as well as fantasy and romance, so suggestions in those genres would be great (but I’m open to others too).

someone’s gotta, so im gonna ask why you don’t want to select one from her list? as a reader, i always appreciate a book as a gift but buying them myself is something im always going to put off. If these are the books she really wants to read, your gesture will be much more meaningful if you’re giving her access to something she wants but won’t buy herself as opposed to trying to prove you know her well or something by finding a new recommendation.
