The Burning Within by RaNelle Wallace. I read this like 15 years ago and I thought it was super interesting, having also known little to nothing about Mormons or Utah Mormon culture. It’s really a tale of a near death experience from the lens of a LDS member.

omg drew barrymore’s “little girl lost” is so bizarre like she was literally still a teenager when it came out lol why did she need a whole memoir at that point.

One of my few DNFs was Kevin Smith’s *My Boring-Ass Life.* I’ve mostly repressed the memory but it was granular and trivial.
I like his films enough that I looked at his book, and he could have probably produced a memoir that wasn’t an affront to my time. Instead, self-indulgent slop.

The Gates of Janus by Ian Brady. I have it but haven’t read it yet. I did research who receives the funds since he and his mother are both dead. It’s pretty unclear but likely goes to his estate, so do with that what you will.

Sociopath by Patric Gagne could have been an email.

I was recommended “Confessions of a Prairie Bitch” from Alison Arngrim. I was skeptical that it would be any good. But, it is really good. So, if you want a great memoir from someone who had a side part in a 1970’s tv show, this is the one for you.

Leggy Blonde by Aviva Drescher. It’s pretty bad, so even reading the reviews is entertaining
