I'm really craving that feel and atmosphere that the video game bloodborne has. I want it to be like bloodborne in every way; horror, dark and atmospheric, mystery, action and basically everything bloodborne.
I'm not really in the mood to start another massive book series but if it is a series of a few, maybe shorter, books thats fine. Ive also heard good stuff about empire of the vampire but im not really a fan of vampires, but im probably still going to read it.

Bloodborne is based on gothic horror novels like Dracula and the cosmic horror work of H.P. Lovecraft and his Cthulhu Mythos (primarily all short stories btw, so not exactly a massive book series)
Between Two Fires is honestly more similar to Dark Souls to an extent, but it still has that Bloodborne vibe especially with some of the creatures and horrid described in the book.
Though you said not interested in any series, Stephen King’s The Dark Tower books always reminded me of Bloodborne and other Souls games. It’s surreal, dark fantasy, and decaying atmosphere.
