Need a book that makes me think

I’m really into books that are on the “fucked up” side of the spectrum of life.

I just finished one book that I found well written (although a lot of opinions online think otherwise) and now it has sparked a fire to read more.

I like books that tell the seedier things about life like:

Lullabies for little criminals
Tweaked
How it feels to float

I would prefer to stick to the more so realistic side (things that seem plausible) but I can venture into the more unrealistic or extreme case scenarios too.
