I'm trying to expand my reading and would love to explore more contemporary literature from the Netherlands. I'm interested in voices that are shaping the current literary scene there.
I've enjoyed works by internationally known authors like Herman Koch, but I'm sure there are so many more great writers I'm missing. I'm open to any genre, literary fiction, thrillers, non-fiction, as long as it's originally written in Dutch and feels modern.
Can anyone recommend some compelling books by newer Dutch authors that have been translated into English? I'd love to know what's capturing attention there now.
