Hello!
Me and my friend are doing a book-exchange this christmas.
We are doing a thing where we will cover the title and backside of the book, and the reader will have to go in blind to the experience.
My friend is an avid fantasy-reader and book-tok follower. She has shelves of fantasy books that she has read – and I am notas into that genre as she is. So I'm looking for book recommendations that are not fantasy, but that would still appeal and scratch the itch of a fantasy reader.
Any tips are appreciated!
A small selection of books that she has mentioned she really enjoyed:
Thunderbird trilogy by Sonia Nimr
Medusa by Jessie Burton
I who have never known men by Jacqueline Harpman
The cat who saved books by Sosuke Natsukawa
Secrets of the wall by Iris de Vree
Throne in the dark by A.K. Caggiano
Daughters of smoke and bone by Laini Taylor
Manacled by SenLinYu
