I find that I've accumulated way too many cliches, tropes and other stuff from movies and other media, memes especially.
Do you have any books that describe as real and normal life as possible? Something that subverts the expectations towards normal, like anti-tropes or something?

Try reading books that are set in the early 2000s or earlier, before the rise of the internet and social media. Goodreads has a lot of really useful lists like [this one.](https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/16553.Books_Set_in_the_Nineties)
People have always been fucked up and weird so there is no “normal” but you can find so many books that aren’t poisoned by modern internet culture.
