Recently I’ve been obsessing over Central Asia for some reason. I’d like some non fiction books recommended to me about the region’s history. It doesn’t really matter what period, but I’m particularly interested in The Great Game and the Soviet era (on the Kazakh famine, for instance, or the Korean refugees).
