Hi guys. Looking for a book or books to read during my holiday travels. Kind of feeling sci-fi or historical fiction but all genres are cool to me. Desi and female authors are a huge, huge plus. A quick sentence summary would be super cool.
Right now on my reading list are Asimov's Foundation, Han Kang's The Vegetarian, and Laurent Binet's Civilization. (If you have opinions on these, let me know!)
Thanks all!

You may like The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson. Woman authored sci-fi set in a multiverse where the main character’s parallel selves have died a lot, making her perfect to travel to other worlds. I read it a few years ago and need to reread it again!
**The Restoration Garden by Sara Blaydes** is a really good historical fiction novel I finished last month (I believe it released this month as it was an Amazon First Reads). It’s about a woman who is hired to restore the garden of a manor in England that has essentially not been touched since World War II.
**The Fourth Daughter by Lyn Liao Butler** is another historical fiction I really enjoyed. A chef from New York travels to Taiwan to help her grandmother find the daughter that her very powerful, abusive ex husband gave away when she was just 2 years old.
*A Wrinkle in Time* by Madeleine L’Engle. A young girl traveling through space and time to find her father after he disappeared while working on a secret project.
