Freida McFadden fans: I need to know if we all went through the same obsession arc.
I started reading her this year and somehow ended up blazing through The Housemaid, The Locked Door, Never Lie, The Boyfriend, and now I’ve picked up The Tenant.
What shocks me is how effortlessly she makes me turn pages. It’s not fancy prose, not deep philosophy, but suddenly it’s 3 AM and I’m 200 pages in.

What do you think she does so well?
Is it the pacing? The cliffhanger-style chapters? The twists?
And which one do you think is her absolute best?

I haven’t friend any of her books but I had a friend who went through a PHASE with Freida McFadden. Spent a solid few months only ever reading her books, and always talking about them. So you’re certainly not alone.
From what I’ve heard, what made Freida’s books so amazing is her plot twists, which are completely unpredictable and jaw-dropping. I mean, we do all love an author who can keep us on our toes and yell out loud when the big twist is finally revealed.
Yup, all the way lol. She is one of my favourite authors and I always recommend her on here.
I have read them all and I always wait patiently for the next.
Have you read any of Nicole Trope? She is really good too, I only discovered her quite recently and have read quite a few, she keeps you guessing.
