MENTAL HEALTH:
I have always felt like I live my life on autopilot, anxiety and dissociating from things cause I've always lacked courage to face emotions and rough events. Ik my brain did it to protect me but now I wanna be able to feel connected to life again. I'm doing good mental health practices and soon will be taking therapy as well.
I look functioning but I'm detached from everyone and everything. It gets heavy this way sometimes. I'd like to find a safe space in books.
Suggest me a book where I can finally feel seen and the character shows courage. Where they finally feel connected to something or someone.
