I had teachers complain to my parents at PTA meetings that I wasn’t lacked creativity and struggled with tasks that required coming up with stuff (I.e. writing stories, painting etc)
But now that I’m in my 20s, I find myself more drawn to the arts but I’m not sure whether I genuinely have that kind of artistic capability to spend so much time on it as those childhood comments still haunt me.
I was wondering whether any writer or artist ever felt the same way? Or found their creative juices later in life? Would love to read about them.
