Do you know any romance book with a male lead who is closed off, not socially awkward but keeps everyone at an arms length, successful, and quite cynical about love, and the female lead with a jovial nature, and she gets interested in the male lead first, and chases him romantically, and I don't mean in a creepy, obnoxious way, but like trying to hang out with him, insert herself into his life, trying to convince him that they'll be a good pair. And the male lead, very reluctant at first, but then eventually he also falls for her. I know most books have the opposite dynamics, that's why I'm really keen to read one with such a plot.

Mmm, *This Is Where I Leave You* I think had a subplot with that premise. Granted the majority of the book was about a family sitting shiva during particularly bad moments in each member’s respective lives.
