I just finished a very long book recently and I want to read something short to relax. To me, "short" means under 180 pages and I don't have any preferences, I read everything. I already read "This is how you lose the time war" so I'd like different books to read. Thank you in advance 😊

There are some great short stories and novellas here: https://www.spoiltheplot.com/novellas?c=32
Anything by Claire Keegan! I especially loved Foster and Small Things Like These.
Train Dreams – Denis Johnson
The Crane Husband by Kelly Barnhill is probably my favorite short book, would highly recommend!
*Animal Farm: A Fairy Tale* by George Orwell.
Sulphuric Acid. Amelie Nothomb. Or spelled similarly to that, anyway. Published in 1988, if that helps.
A psalm for the wild-built
The Haar by David Sodergren
I think it’s like 200-ish, but I flew through it in a day and felt much shorter
Black Flame by Gretchen Felker-Martin is about 150 I think. Body gore horror.
Anything by Etgar Keret
Trout Fishing in America. Richard Brautigan
