Hi!
I'm looking for a book suggestion for my next book club (which means I'm looking for something that is not super long – maybe up to 350 pages – but has interesting thoughts/tropes/anything we can talk about)
The theme I think we have is connected to mind & body, we recently read a fiction book about a mental hospital, with a touch of philosophy, war and big questions about ethics.
I'm thinking about something "similar", maybe Frankenstein? We will probably cover it sooner or later, but aside from Frankenstein I don't have many ideas

Human acts by Han Kang. Not long, lots to talk about. The Wall by Maren Haushofer. Not long, lots to talk about, especially for women. I just finished “After Dark” by Murakami. Not long, and I feel ought to be lots to talk about. Either one of these I would be happy to discuss in a book club.
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
Our book club had a great discussion over I Who Have Never Known Men. It’s a very short book, I think 200 pages. It might fit your theme.
