Hey all,
I’ve recently found myself badly wanting to read some “crap” books. Ive gorged myself on classics and essays and literary stuff my whole life and realised it’s made me kind of see reading as a job.
One of my favourite books though is He Died With a Felafel in His Hand by John Birmingham, and recently read a couple of books by The Sandman — just humorous Aussie fiction / possibly non fiction, and loved just the simple stories made to make you laugh or be horrified.
I also love my gothic horror, Frankenstein, Dracula and picture of Dorian gray are my favs there.
I basically am just tired of the kind of books you write essays about and just want something something simple and fun, quality is NOT a concern.
Any recommendations based on the books ive listed?
Cheers
