Looking for suggestions for someone who loves dragons but struggles with animal and family deaths in books (mostly due to autism but also because they really love dragons…and family). Also minimal romance ideally. YA and older.
They love Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Eragon, how to train your dragon, the Merlin tv series.
I’ve tried using ‘does the dog die’ to check previous dragon-y recommendations on this sub but it makes everything sound full of death and torture!
