Looking for a book or series about post apocalyptic earth

As the title states. I’m looking for a specific, either genre or series of books. Basically it’s a story like Horizon, the PS game. A post apocalyptic civilization lives amongst the ruins of what is present day for us. I saw a post where there’s a story about life in a mysterious planet and the twist at the end is its earth way long into the future.
